利用生物基因组学数据库，对绵羊雌激素受体(estrogen receptor，ESR)基因进行生物信息学分析。结果表明，绵羊ESR基因含有1个1 413 bp的开放阅读框，编码470个氨基酸；ESR蛋白分子质量为53 393.85 D。ESR基因主要位于细胞核中，参与机体转录调控过程。

This study aimed to bioinformations of sheep ESR gene . The physicochemical characteristics， structures and functions of ovine ESR were predicted and analyzed with software tools and database . Meanwhile， the phylogenetic tree of ESR and related proteins was constructed， The results shows that the ORF of ESR was 1 413 bp which encoded 470 amino acids . The sheep protein of ESR was 53 393.85 D in molecular weight . The ESR gene played an important role in transcription regulation in cell nucleus .
